웹툰 작가이자 방송인, 팝아트 화가 기안84는 2008년 웹툰 ‘노병가’로 데뷔, ‘패션왕’과 ‘복학왕’을 통해 대중들의 폭발적인 관심을 받으며 가장 인기 있고 영향력 있는 웹툰 작가로 자리매김했다.
2016년부터 출연 중인 예능 프로그램 ‘나 혼자 산다’를 기점으로 특유의 꾸밈없는 캐릭터와 순수한 모습을 통해 대중들의 사랑을 받고 있으며, 2021년 MBC 방송연예대상 남자 최우수상을 수상하며 방송인으로서의 입지를 증명하였다.
또한 2022년 첫 개인전 ‘기안84 제1회 개인전’을 성공적으로 개최하며 그 활동 영역을 꾸준히 확장해나가고 있다.
